Owner/Licensed Clinical Social Worker

NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME!

Hello there! I am the owner of Mind Heart Spirit Counseling Services, LLC and I am so happy you’re here! I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for many years, and I have an array of experiences working with individuals, couples, and families across various settings. I believe in assisting others to find and use their voice to fully express the fullness of who they are.

I am dedicated to helping others establish/re-establish their identity, and strengthen their self-awareness. My approach to healing is specific to every person, incorporating varying therapeutic methods. Throughout our course of treatment, I will assist with identifying the root causes of your struggles, and address past and/or recent traumas that may be affecting your day-to-day functioning. We will explore and address childhood and family wounds that likely contribute to your overall experiences as an adult.

I would like to congratulate you in advance for taking the time to invest in yourself and/or your family/relationship(s)! I am looking forward to partnering with you on your healing journey toward wholeness in mind, heart, and spirit!

In addition to direct therapy services, I am also skilled and credentialed to provide clinical supervision to associate level clinicians, clinical mental health consultation services, as well as mental health workshops to companies, schools, community agencies, churches, and other community programs/facilities that may benefit or be in need of such support/services.  I believe that partnering to heal and educate our community is the key to lasting impact and to creating a healthy thriving society.

IMMEDIATE TELEHEALTH OPENINGS FOR NEW CLIENTS!

Hello and welcome! As we go through various stages in our lives, there are moments when we face difficult barriers or challenges. In my role as a bilingual (English & Spanish-speaking) social worker and therapist, I utilize several methods of treatment with a sense of empathy and compassion for the adults, youth (ages 7-18 y/o), and families I serve. These methods of treatment and approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT, Family Systems Theory, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Within my years of experience, I’ve helped clients and families develop their unique coping skills for symptoms related to anger, anxiety, behavioral dysregulation, depression, stress, trauma, and PTSD. Additionally, I have worked in various settings including medical offices, homes, communities, and remote video/telehealth. I look forward to working with you and/or your family as a team with a focus on healing, skills building, and reaching your goals.

Licensed Professional Counselor

IMMEDIATE TELEHEALTH OPENINGS FOR NEW CLIENTS!

I specialize in Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Addiction Disorders. For the last 15 years, I have provided integrated styles of therapy including CBT, DBT, ERP, REBT, Gestalt techniques, Exposure, and Motivational Interviewing. Specifically, working to address the root cause of issues and challenge negative thinking and behavioral patterns. I build off radical acceptance and meet every individual exactly where they are. From here, focusing on progress, positive reinforcement, and replacement, results in positive internal and external outcomes, motivation for change, autonomy, and installation of hope.

Whether seeking traditional, structured therapies or other, my experience in the field is all-encompassing. Some of my primary focus includes OCD disorders and exposure therapy. Internal locus of control & interpersonal work for manageability of depressive symptoms, addressing manifestations of unresolved trauma & triggers. Intensive substance abuse therapy. If you are struggling, feeling lost, or hopeless, please remember that we do recover and change is possible.
